How is the BOTE Deus Different from Other Inflatable Kayaks?
The BOTE differs from other inflatable kayaks (and SUPs for that matter) in a few different ways. First of all, the seat sits higher on the boat, so you feel more elevated off the water while seated. This design also helps to keep you drier.
Second, the open back allows water to drain out the rear of the boat. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about getting water inside the kayak. Not to mention, the flared bow helps keep the deck dry by deflecting any waves.
Third, you can convert the kayak into a stand-up paddleboard simply by removing the seat. Compared to a Hybrid SUP Kayak, this watercraft offers more stability, better storage space and a more comfortable seat.

Bottom fins add more stability, plus they make it easier to turn and maneuver your kayak. The Bote also comes with a removable center tracking fin, which keeps your kayak moving in a straight line as you paddle (rather than wiggling back and forth).
The inside of the boat has a textured deck pad so that you don’t slip, and your gear doesn’t slide around either. In addition, the cushioned pad helps reduce “foot fatigue” if you’re standing for a long period of time.
You can also secure your gear to the boat using the D-rings and bungee cords. If you want to carry a cooler, fishing tackle or other gear, these come in really handy.
